Sorry for the lack of updates, but do I have some news for everyone. I've been busy trying to find a job, and I finally got lucky: I'll be working at Forever 21, and it's a BIG store. I'm really, really excited to start: I can dress cool, have my hair down, and really express myself like I couldn't do at my other job. Plus, I'll have free time to work on my art (although I've been very busy as of late). All in all, it looks like I'll be very happy there. I feel happy already~
Aside from that, I just submitted my letter of intent for a table at the artist's alley at Anime Next! I've put this off for so long and, honestly, it's hurt me as an artist to do so. At the time, I wasn't confident in my abilities...I didn't think I could sell any of my pieces, and I figured that was the most important part until my best friend started his business. He told me that even if you don't sell much, you're still out there and you're doing what you love, and in the end it can benefit you more. I've been hard at work drawing lately and it's really showing, and I can finally say that I'm ready for the convention experience. It's not until June, too, so it gives me a lot of time to prepare and really fine tune my skills!
Finally, it looks like SOMA might be going somewhere, as in with a company. Still waiting to hear the word on that, but once I can talk about it I'll fill you guys in~
